Cabinet of Curiosities

As a lead role of the Curatorial team, Lys along with her Pro Practice Class at Appalachian State University hosted the exhibition Cabinet of Curiosities. This show displayed the abnormal art of 53 artist on campus, and 68 pieces of art!

Curatorial Statement:

This exhibition aims to show a wide variety of artists' work created through imagination. The uniqueness of each piece is meant to stimulate the viewer through thought, curiosity, and the sense of the unnatural. Story telling, abstraction, and figurative pieces of all mediums push the boundaries of reality and the known.
